Sea Foam was created using pieces of discarded plastic foam (often known by the brand name Styrofoam). These pieces were added to resin and then cast into the shapes of sea creatures. The translucent creatures expose the plastic foam within their bodies, highlighting dangers such as plastic ingestion by animals and humans. This installation was made with Ocean Conservancy to raise awareness about a proposed federal ban on plastic foam.
